通称「麻呂コン」でおじゃる。
大量のドローサポートによって《初めて立ったもの、清麻呂》をトランスさせ、圧倒的なライフ差によって相手の闘争心を殺いで投了に追い込むデッキ。
ドローサポートには、《ファイレクシアの闘技場》《夜の囁き》を擁する黒と、《集中》を筆頭にドロースペルには事欠かない青という2つの選択肢があったのだが、大量の手札を抱えた際の相手への心理的プレッシャーを考えると、青のコントロール力が適任だろうということで、青白コントロールの方向で定着した。
デッキの性格上、ほとんどのデッキに対応できると思うが、《永遠の証人》でマストカウンターを使い回される緑系コントロールや、剣＆十手＆薙刀装備の重ビートダウンには相性が悪い。今の環境でこのメタに弱いというのは致命的だが。笑。
